What To Wear // Winter 2015

A new season is upon us and with it, a new look. Winter is coming and so are new trends, looks and styles. Here you can find an overview of this season’s street style trends, plus affordable items that are unmissable in your winter wardrobe.

// Camel Coat

The camel coat is hot this season. It gives your look that classy feel, especially if you combine the coat with a Breton stripe, like Alexa Chung here. This coat from Mango is both trendy and affordable!

// Turtle-Neck Sweater

Bundle up against the cold with this wool turtle-neck sweater from H&M! You can pair your sweater with skinny jeans for a casual, yet sophisticated look.

// (Wo)men in Black

Black never goes out of style. This season, you can wear everything black, from head to toe. Combine prints and fabrics to keep it interesting, or wear a dress like the one from New Look… because that’s really all you need.

// Rain Boots

In The Netherlands, winter does not necessarily mean snow. More often, it means rain – a lot of rain. To face the dreadful weather, you better wear some water-resistant boots. These are from the Fab Collection by HEMA and are a little bit edgier than your usual rain boots!

// Midi-Skirt

I love midi skirts. They add a little touch of vintage to every outfit. One of the greatest things about midi skirts, is that you can easily transfer them from your summer to your winter wardrobe. This one from H&M is classic, but still edgy and very feminine, and will look great with black tights and a sweater. Perfect for winter time!

// Seventies

Seventies definitely made a come back this season. I’m not a big fan of flared jeans, so this camel A-line skirt from New Look is the perfect alternative to create your seventies look this winter!

// Metallics

Metallics aren’t just for party outfits. This winter, you see them everywhere. You can wear this sparkling top from H&M with a blazer for a more sophisticated look, or pair the top with a cardigan if you want to go casual.

// Mad Hatter

Winter is the perfect season for hats – that is if the wind is not too strong. But once the weather is good, you can go full mad hatter. This one from WE in a beautiful, deep burgundy color is the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe.

// Lady in Red

Besides black, the color for this winter is red. It’s edgy, classic, christmassy and very feminine – perfect! This dress from H&M is both the ultimate dress for your Christmas parties, when paired with a stunning pair of heels and fancy accessories, but also for your every day look, when you combine it with ankle boots and a cardigan.

// Over-Knee Boots

Perhaps the most difficult and edgy trend for this winter: over-knee boots. They’re not for everyone, but when paired with the rights items, they can be the perfect eye-catcher. This winter, combine these black suede over-knee boots from Tamaris via Zalando with an oversized sweater or a skinny jeans to create the ultimate winter look.

Winter might be coming, but with these tips, you will be fashionably ready!

Love,

autograph
